How Clavkey collects, uses, and protects information on our marketing website, including contact submissions, analytics cookies, and SMS two-factor-authentication consent.
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Clavkey ("Clavkey", "we", "us", or "our") operates this marketing website at clavkey.com. We are a company based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This policy applies only to this marketing website. Our access platform and any product you sign in to are governed by separate agreements and privacy terms.
What We Collect and Why
We collect two kinds of information on this website.
First, information you give us through our contact form. When you reach out, we ask for your first name, last name, and email address. You may also choose to share your phone number, company name, company website, and team size, and you can write a free-text message describing what you need. We collect this so that a member of our team can understand your request and respond to you.
Second, information collected automatically when you browse. Like most websites, we gather basic usage data such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and details about your device and browser. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
We do not operate accounts, take payments, or handle product user data on this marketing website.
How We Use It
We use the information you provide to reply to your inquiry, answer your questions, and follow up about our platform if you have asked us to. We use automatically collected usage data to measure interest, understand which content is helpful, diagnose technical issues, and make the site better over time. We do not use this information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.
Text Messaging (SMS) for Two-Factor Authentication
Separately from this marketing website, our secure access platform (staff.one) offers SMS-based two-factor authentication (2FA) to help protect sign-ins. This section describes that text-messaging program and the consent it relies on.
What the messages are. If you choose SMS as a two-factor method, we send one-time passcodes (verification codes) by text message to the mobile number you provide, so you can confirm your identity when you sign in. These are account-security messages — not marketing.
Your consent (opt-in). You opt in by enabling SMS two-factor authentication and providing your mobile number in your account's security settings. Providing your number for this purpose is your consent to receive 2FA text messages at that number. Enabling SMS two-factor authentication is optional, and your consent to these messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using our services.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your sign-in activity (typically one message per verification request). Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Opting out and help. Reply STOP to a message at any time to stop the texts, or turn off SMS two-factor authentication in your account settings; reply HELP for help. If you opt out of SMS, you will need another two-factor method to keep your account protected.
How we handle your number. We use the mobile number you provide for this purpose only to deliver these two-factor authentication messages, and we deliver them through a third-party SMS provider that processes them on our behalf. We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing.
Questions about the SMS program can be sent to [email protected].
Cookies and Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 sets cookies on your device and collects standard usage data, including pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser characteristics. We have configured GA4 so that IP addresses are anonymized.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The cookies we use through GA4 help us count visits and see how people move through the site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies or alert you before one is stored. If you block analytics cookies, the site will still work, though our view of how it is used will be less complete. You can also install Google's browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics measurement.
Third-Party Processors (Postmark, Google)
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run this website. We share information with them only as needed to provide their service, and they are expected to protect it.
When you submit the contact form, your message is delivered to our team through Postmark, a transactional email provider. Postmark processes the contents of your submission so the email can be sent and received.
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google, for the website analytics described above. Google processes the usage data collected through its cookies on our behalf.
These providers may process and store information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We share information only with the service providers described in this policy, and only so they can perform services for us. We may also disclose information if we are required to do so by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect our rights, safety, and property or those of others.
Data Retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of our communications, after which we delete or archive them in line with our normal business practices. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our Google Analytics configuration and Google's standard retention controls. If you ask us to delete information we hold about you, we will do so where we are not required to keep it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect. Our contact submissions travel over encrypted connections, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have a security concern about this website, please contact us at the address below.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you. These can include the right to access the information, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and to ask us to delete it. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and residents of California may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected], and we will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
International Visitors
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed here and in other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your own. By using this website and contacting us, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and elsewhere.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically so you stay informed about how we handle information.
How to Contact Us
